My friend Julia gave birth to a baby boy. He weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces and she managed to wait until 8 cm before she got the epidural. She is a goddess of labor and shall be bowed to. Both mom and baby are fine though both stunned at the size of the little guy, I'm sure.
